1962
The Roots of Wisdom
Sri Kanna Vaidyar, a renowned Ayurvedic physician, begins his practice in Panaje under the name Shree Durga Parameshwari Oushadhalaya, laying the foundation for a legacy of healing and wellness.
1986
A New Chapter Begins
Dr. Harikrishna Panaje, inspired by his father’s dedication to Ayurveda, opens his own clinic in Parladka, marking the beginning of a new era in holistic healing.
1988
Birth of SDP Remedies and Research Centre
With a vision to bring authentic Ayurvedic remedies to more people, Dr. Panaje establishes SDP Remedies and Research Centre in Parladka, equipped with modern technology yet rooted in traditional practices.
2005
GMP Certification
SDP Ayurveda achieves a significant milestone by becoming a GMP certified company, a testament to our commitment to quality and excellence.
2018
Expansion and Recognition
To meet the growing demand for our products, we inaugurate a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Mundoor. In the same year, we are honored with the ‘Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Manufacturing Excellence Award’

About SDP Remedies and Research Centre
SDP Remedies and Research Centre was founded in 1992 by Dr. Harikrishna Panaje to prepare medicines for his clinical practice. Traditional knowledge coupled with modern Ayurvedic education helped in manufacturing clinically potent Ayurvedic formulations, which showed wonderful results in clinical practice. Then the mission was to make these highly effective formulations for other practitioners and hence to patients.
We have in our offering more than 140 classical Ayurvedic preparations and more than 40 patented preparations for the treatment of various diseases. This state-of-the-art manufacturing unit is located in Mundoor, Puttur.
